This faceting seminar, designed for beginners, is the perfect opportunity for those just starting out in the world of gemstone faceting to gain a solid foundation of knowledge and ask any questions they may have about their interest,concern, & experiences. It is also ideal for those who are simply curious and eager to learn more about the art of faceting gemstones.
The seminar takes place over two days and will consist of four two-hour live sessions with Nolan and Mark.
2023 Spring Session - limited to five participants
Day One Saturday TBD , 2023
Session One- 12:00 to 1:30 EST
Topic: Faceting machine maintenance, lap types, and care
Topic: Lap selection and faceting process
Day Two Sunday TBD 2023
Session Three- 12:00 to 1:30 EST
Topic: Rough selection, orientation, preforming, and dopping
Topic: Gemstone designs, gemstone designing, and gemstone pricing
The each of the four sessions will be divided into two sections, tutorial and questions & answers.
The forum is limited to 5 participants so that we can address everyones questions.
The cost for all four sessions is $400 per person for a total of 6 hours of instrurction and Q & A.

The sessions will be using the Zoom video conferencing platform. All participants must have Zoom access and reliable internet service along with previous Zoom experience. We are happy to test your Zoom application capability before the session. We will not be able to trouble shoot your connection during the session.
